The violin, viola, and cello are a family of instruments that are unrivaled in their beauty when it comes to their potential range. Our instructors will educate you in proper technique so that you can unlock the true potential of these instruments and your own.
Learning the violin, viola, and cello all follow a similar early structure, with a focus on introducing our students to the feel of the box and instrument. Positioning, comfort, and proper use of the left hand all play an important role in early education. As you progress you will learn proper bow strokes for each respective instrument. All these elements will accumulate as you play new and classic music along the way.
Our teachers are dedicated to your growth and progression and will be with you every step of the way to gauge your progression and introduce proper incremental difficulty in every lesson you take so that you always feel like you are being challenged. Our goal is for you to love what you do and be great at it.
We offer lessons with a variety of instruments, depending on your taste pick one of the following; the violin, viola, and cello are all available at the Academy of Music for you to try and learn.
